Diet is the primary factor in whether you gain or lose weight. After learning about your nutritional habits, step one is education - caloric intake, macro nutrients, processed vs unprocessed, and much more. I will help you understand and measure what you consume in a simple way, and then implement small changes (without taking away the foods you love) that will leave you feeling and looking better than ever before. Protein is the building block of for muscle and one of the most satiating nutrients. Hitting adequate protein consumption every day will dramatically improve body compostion.

Food Quality

Processed foods make up 70% of the average American diet, and are designed to make you overconsume. Switching towards whole foods when possible will give you more nutrients with less calories.

Food Quantity

If you want to lose weight, you need to eat less calories than you burn. If your goal is to gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. That balance point needs to be identified and calories measured.
